Dear readers of this blog, I urge you to pray for the Victims of the Sichuan earthquake.
I personally can feel the sense of worry and loss - as I have classmates who are from Sichuan whose family are still there outdoors - fearing to go back to their homes due to the tremors tat are happening throughout the day.
Have seen my classmates with reddish eyes and dried tear marks.. signs of worrying about their families' safety in Si Chuan.
The fear of the worst when you cant contact your parents for 5 hours straight after the 1st quake happened..
O Lord, You are in control, you made the heavens and the earth.
Lord You alone know the reasons why this is all happening. We pray that as you reveal your will to us, you continue to watch over those whose families are still trapped in the rubble, whose families are still staying outdoors for fear of another quake, and we pray that your peace guards the hearts and minds of the overseas students studying here in Singapore...
In the midst of all this pain and fear and worry, we pray that we become beacons of light to all these people who are lost and who do not know where their tomorrow lies.
Pray for spiritual boldness to share the Gospel in this trying times.
This maybe the worst time to share, and this maybe the best time to share the Gospel with them.
Lord, pray for wisdom to share, to shift from self-centeredness to caring about the people around us. especially for those who're living in fear and worry.
PEOPLE NEED THE LORD.
